Jade Roller Comparison Review: Chi Beauty vs Unbranded

I am making this comparison review because I’ve been seeing this very cheap (my milk tea is more expensive compared to this) Jade Roller online that costs 55PHP (1USD). My curiosity got in to me and bought one to see for myself. I already have a jade roller that I bought early 2019 from Chi Beauty in Beauty MNL for 900php (18USD). This originally costs 1299PHP (26USD).

Before I start with this review, let’s take a look at the promises of a Jade Roller:

✨Provides deep massaging action to improve blood circulation and increase oxygen supply to face

✨Improves skin tone and elasticity

✨Prevents wrinkle formation

✨Stimulates lymphatic drainage with regular use

✨Eliminates toxins and reduces facial puffiness

✨Helps minimize the appearance of dark under eye circles and tighten pores

✨Improves definition around jawline and cheekbones

A lot of promises right?! These are all based from Chi Beauty’s Fast Facts in Beauty MNL.

Honestly, I don’t use my roller often so I can’t really tell whether the claims above are true. I think I’ll make a review on that separately. I need to challenge myself first to use it regularly and comeback to you. My aim here is to compare the two rollers I have based on the physical attributes and the experience upon use.

Chi Beauty Jade Roller

-has very smooth, even surface

-cool to touch even if not placed in the fridge prior to use

-a bit heavy when lifted

Cheap-O Jade Roller

-surface is not even and feels waxy

-smells like plastic

-not cool to touch, needs to be place in the fridge if you want it to be cool

-a bit heavy when lifted

Overall, I will always choose Chi Beauty’s Jade Roller over the Cheap-O. Yes, I am officially naming this unbranded roller. Lol. If you are planning to buy one, please invest on quality rollers. Just wait for a good deal like I did if your budget is tight. You won’t be wasting your money here. I promise!
